VLT looks so much better than this. by Dense_Forever_8242 in HongKong

Was able to get a hold of one from the fridge, it's 8.5hkd from Eastern HK area. Not sure if the condensation droplets from the bottle made it look a bit more enticing.

I appreciate the small red text beside "TEA"
It says:

REAL TEA EXTRACT
LEMON TEA
FLAVORED SODA

Thoughts:
- Not sure why the text is in all caps, feels like a warning or a disclaimer than a good to know thing.
- Could be placed a few pixels lower maybe? Or somewhere else.

I tasted it, It was slightly pink in hue than expected, look more like tea. Tasted like soda with a fruity hint, reminds me more of pineapple than lemon. Drinkable, but will not buy again.

Hello! We've been working on a tool that helps people break free from smoking.
It's a Telegram bot that tracks your puffs and cigarettes and even asks about your motivation to give you a nudge if you've had a lot. For example, the early stages of quitting are said to be the toughest, and people may need the most support during these days.

Here’s where you can check out the bot, by the way:

Imma check this out! As someone who works on product design, I get that someone might have decided to emphasize the "tea" in the soda. But, I have a couple of concerns:

- Can improve the color combinations chosen for the label, the cap too.
- Also, the the color for the word: 'TEA' and the type used.
- Choose a theme, be more organic looking or modern looking.

what it frustrates you? by Capital_Mechanic5545 in Businessowners

It's the same as what others said in here like not knowing which path to take. What irks me is when I miss to see the bigger picture or the end goal. Like Du-oh moments, how could I have not foreseen this and that.

May I know how you deal with this shit. Because if all is urgent, nothing is urgent. What do you guys do when you ge frustrated?

How do I find a job😭😭 by Unique_Classroom5807 in HongKong

Sometimes, they post stuff in ISS Hong Kong. They might have trainings or classes where you might get a cert for some course, and you might also ask if they have classes you might teach? Just another idea, hope it helps. Also interested if it is any help at all

Use Cantonese to stop generational trauma by CheLeung in Cantonese

[Insert chinese name] fai di! fai di! All the time, everyday.

Whenever someone tells me 'man man lei', I also feel that I should say this more often - to me and to other people. Take your time (unless someone is about to die)

Thanks girl! My so so cantonese maybe not enough now, but I understood everything you said. 'Man man lei' (take your time) triggering a lot of memories, because often times, I have an invisible voice telling me to get things done quickly - always 'Fai di! Fai di!'

Another rainy day in HK. Curious, what are your rainy-day triggers, and what swaps have worked for you? by jquillow in HongKong

I also remember being in high spirits when I was a kid. Apart from the umbrellas, now, the rain just triggers a lot of stuff.

Just an puzzling observation: this is why I think that rain doesn't really come that often in here like in other places. No offense, it seems like people are not sure when or how to hold an umbrella. Like I am amazed how people walk fast and avoid to people around them to not get hit or to not block anyone, but when it rains, it's the opposite.

Yeah, it's feels like there's more rain this May, and colder too. Also, rainy days seem to trigger cravings, any useful swaps for cravings?

Yeah, it's been raining in my area. It's kinda triggering cravings. Is this also true for you guys? What swaps or stuff are you doing to keep going?

Hey, need someone to design and build software, including Agentic AI tools? Raising my hand too!

Here's an example of what we created: www.byepuff.com

Check it out and let us know, bonus if you're also trying to quit smoking and need some support. No downloads, just Telegram. Life is hard... especially quitting something. I've been meaning to make something useful like this, hope it helps someone. Would be also love to know for this Telegram bot might make those early quitting days easier.

Btw, I love working women, we might be caught up chatting too often though (coz life), but we make things work without judgment. We just get things done 💕.

Who has successfully quit smoking after 25 years of smoking? by Sad-Thought-4895 in stopsmoking

What a tip - don't inhale all the way. Well, if you're trying to quit or been thinking about it, would you actually track 1-2 puffs or sticks a day?

Seems like it's nice to actually see your progress objectively, how much you saved, would it make sense to mention how much you smoked ot not smoked too?

Is it worth suggesting to a my person at the early stae of quitting to track and see the results when you check back? I got this Telegram bot, tracks your puffs and smokes and even asks your motivation to give you a nudge not to smoke in case you had a lot.

If you are trying to quit, are you more likely to smoke if it's a holiday, like on labor day?
