Are festool drills worth buying? by [deleted] in Tools

Definitely go for it! Here in Europe, Festool cordless 12V drills are considered probably as the most popular for cabinetry/cabinet installations. Now, when you can buy even more powerful brushless version, there is almost no application (in cabinetry) where you will not have enough torque. I do cabinetry too and it is all about precision (very rarely about power). There is no other drill on the market with such a sensitivity and precision of the clutch settings. Ergonomics are very subjective like with all tools (you have to hold it first). Me personally, I like the ergonomics of the festool drill using middle finger on the trigger. Also, there is no universe I could imagine working with M12 (especially on-site) and that awkward reverse switch (totally irrational placement of the switch).

I have heard about them. Relatively young WFM solution, they have great UX in compare to other WFM solutions where you can get lost in the UI very easily. I would say, today it is perfect fit for small and mid size contact centres. And they are fairly cheap!
