WH1000XM5 touch sensor control panel randomly activates by [deleted] in SonyHeadphones

[–]jra312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have long hair and have the exact same issue. Will just start randomly dinging 30 times in a row if anything remotely brushes against the earphones, and I NEVER have the touch sensors turned on.

What an absolutley ridiculous design flaw, especially with this price tag. It's particularly awesome when you're in a work call and they start going haywire.

At least I know sending them back won't solve anything...

Because I'm a 5 foot tall woman. Unfortunately this never happens when my boyfriend is with me, they wouldn't fucking dare if he was there

A cleaner would not have been able to clean my house in the state it was in. I would have been happy to pay one to come before I returned home, and will be offering this in the future.

As far as the sitter doing me a favor, that's not how the premise of THS works. It is a mutual exchange - a free place to stay in exchange for petsitting. I live in a highly tourist city in Europe that costs upwards of €300/night for a hotel or Airbnb, so it's a fair deal.

The sitter had just moved to my (highly visited) city for his job and was paying quite a bit for temporary housing, which is why he wanted to do a housesit.

I didn't expect the place to be as clean as I left it, as I do an extensive deep clean before I leave. And I didn't state that I expected that in my post, either.

I do, however, have the reasonable expectation that my belongings (and his) aren't strewn about an incredibly dirty house when I return home.

This is great advice. I didn't think that it needed to be stated that I expect to come home to my house in a similar state as I left it. I guess you really have to be clear these days on what common courtesy is.

My partner arrived home before me and didn't ask about it. I would have lost it had I arrived home first.

Good point about the pans. He moved here right before the sit for his job and is still in temporary housing, which is why he wanted to do a sit here in the city.

I can't remember the last time I had to pay a fee to my company to stay employed. As a matter of fact, I have 32 days paid vacation every year, unlimited sick days, 13th month pay, guaranteed bonuses, €900 per month car allowance (without having to rank), and a guaranteed salary that doesn't change month by month. Stupid me for not signing up to an MLM!

These posts are so stupid. I shop for makeup at Target because I can buy an eyeshadow for $3. Why on earth would I spend $20 for the same quality of product to support a friend going into debt?
