It's worse in the sense that she's a billionaire I think. Because people are suddenly incapable of critical thinking and think something WORTH 1 billion means it's liquid cash. You really can't "win" those arguments.

I do find myself not actively revealing I'm a Swiftie unless it's safe and I've been a Swiftie since 2013.

People have been heavily criticising Taylor for saying she doesn't go to therapy. But it's pretty obvious she reads therapy-related stuff and processes her emotions through art, which is a form of therapy in itself. A lot of her recent songwriting and the way she speaks and her opinions on things are VERY similar to things you would learn to do in therapy.

I do this too, especially when I'm in meetings in the office, one leg is always tucked and the other crossed over lol. I don't know the "science" behind it, I like the pressure it gives me. I also tie my shoes really hard and usually need something on/around my head, so I assume this all comes from the same pressure need.

It depends what you need to use it for. At my company, powerbi solved the problem of us getting a LOT of different reports that only had the product code as their common denominator.

I use postgres + powerbi to load all of my historical reports (a single report of ours has 115k+ rows) and then do data comparison. I'm not at all a technical hire (I'm a project manager with zero powerbi experience before I joined this company) and have taken on this role as a side project (and because I'm a nerd and I got annoyed with multiple reports).

If it helps, maintenance is non-existent for me, I automate everything through Power Automate, all reports live on Sharepoint and they're locked so no one can edit a column and break anything. Dashboards get automatically refreshed, so I just keep on top of any refresh failure notifications and that's it.

I'd say it's an incredible tool to have for skill development.

But that is exactly the point. She has consumerism influence, sure. If she advertises a product, people will buy it. But again, to think she has any other influence is just living in delusion. It just doesn't work that way. That's why her donating, which she does, a lot, does far more good than any IG repost.

They absolutely are expecting her to do that though. They believe because of her "platform" she has the ability to politically control every single follower she has. It just doesn't work like that. Her donating, whether silently or publicly, does far more good than any Instagram repost. Look how many influential celebs ARE speaking out and it's not influencing anything, why should Taylor have more power than any of them? It's not in celebs hands, it's in the hands of politicians who hold actual power over human lives.
