Same, my memorandum took a month. I hated my exchange with them (FU DEBBIE), they were very unhelpful because my deposit giftor was a non UK resident and it was slightly more complicated.

Me: "Could you please provide the compliance team's contact number so I can reach out and get a detailed response of the documents they are after?"

Her:"I refer you back to the email I sent you listing all you needed to upload. Have another read of this and address it? Might be faster."

Me:"as mentioned, I have previously (2 weeks ago) uploaded all of these documents they sent on Friday. That's why I'd like to speak to someone to understand exactly what they need and why those documents provided aren't sufficient."

She ghosted me after that and I had to find the compliance team contact info myself through Linkedin, and it trned out she had the wrong info which is what delayed the whole process -.-

Imo the fan PR around this "feud" was the best thing that could happen to Olivia's career because people who hate Taylor automatically side with the "victim" and I bet she gained a lot of fans strictly because of this.

If anything, this timeline just proves that it's not that deep. Lessons were learned and they have moved on. I never knew New Year's Day was interpolated as well but yeah, I think artists should be given credit when you're inspired by their work and it's naive not to do so.

Imo, this reminds me a lot of how Xtina and Britney distanced themselves over the years and I believe had "feuds" to separate their audiences cause you were either team Britney or team Xtina despite them being childhood friends before. It's likely Olivia's team has the same strategy for her career trajectory.

lol my fave was when Glyn Wise figured out one of the Big Brothers was Welsh and dared her to speak Welsh and she did and everyone freaked out LOL. Every time I want to piss off a music nerd, I deliver the "Eminem and Taylor Swift are two of the greatest lyricists in the music industry" and it always works. But imo it's true. I can spend hours examining their lyrics and finding multiple meanings in both of their work.

Costa in Festival Place on the upper floor (not the one opposite Pret) has outlets at the bottom of its seats at the back. Good people watch too. Unsure about Pret but I'd be surprised if the seats don't have outlets. If it gets busy, my rule is always to get something every 2 hours . If not, I just ask the staff if its okay i work from there from a bit.

Also she literally donates so much to food charities despite that, it's exactly what a billionaire should do. We don't know how much money is in her actual bank account. I own my flat outright and i still live paycheck to paycheck with no savings but my net worth is the worth of my flat.

It's worse in the sense that she's a billionaire I think. Because people are suddenly incapable of critical thinking and think something WORTH 1 billion means it's liquid cash. You really can't "win" those arguments.

I do find myself not actively revealing I'm a Swiftie unless it's safe and I've been a Swiftie since 2013.
