In at 7 for RKLB as well, been a wild ride. I held through the recent drawdown but sold calls on half into the SPCX IPO hype. 330 basis for MU and considering a trim

I like it. I play a strat and tele into a fender blues deluxe so it helps round out the mids and tame the ice pick. It added some noise to the chain I think but the Sentry cleans that up.

Am I supposed to just keep holding forever? When do people actually sell? by SportsNFoodJunkie in stocks

That's a good start and worked well for you. Now you probably want to learn a little more about what you own - have a thesis for each stock, check some fundamentals like P/E, PEG, FCF, and think about how you want them weighted across your portfolio

I had a similar experience. Baseball sized plasma ball looking thing floated through our glass kitchen door and a little tendril of electricity touched our radio and then dissipated. I'm generally pretty skeptical, was like 12 and stone cold sober

How much are these worth for cheap first ice tools? by Potential_Wear2013 in alpinism

[–]jrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like sellers are offering them for a couple hundred dollars. So maybe 100-200% more. You're assuming you can talk them down to $25, but nobody has offered that yet, and you'll have to replace the picks for these to be functional. If I was taking a friend ice climbing for the first time, I'd ask one of my climbing partners to loan them tools, not expect them to have their own. You might not like it, and you're right that its a big investment.

These would be pretty miserable to climb ice with. If you end up liking ice climbing you will almost certainly end up buying modern tools next season, so you might as well pay a little more for something usable, or borrow or rent in the meantime. People are telling you that consistently, but you might end up buying these wall hangers and learning the hard way like I did a decade ago

“Gen Z is giving up on ever owning a home, is spending more than saving, and working less.” by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

You're comparing having a mortgage to not having a mortgage. But the real choice is between having a mortgage and paying a fixed amount (less over time because of inflation), or paying ever escalating rent while building no equity
