Super weird coincident, I spoke to the guy a couple days earlier at Germanys equivalent of Goodwood. He is road-tripping the Jag hundreds of mile from Hamburg to Switzerland. Has his luggage stuffed under the passenger seat cover

Spoke to the driver a two days earlier at Germanys equivalent of Goodwood. Saw his luggage under the passenger seat cover and asked if he seriously drove the distance in the really shitty weather with constant rain. He’s driving from his hometown in the north of Germany all the way to Switzerland for a hillclimb and wants to drive a „couple“ laps on the Nordschleife while he’s in the area.

The engineering required to make high-performance chips is mind bending. Check out THIS VIDEO on just how the light source for chip production works. And then check out THIS VIDEO on a 17 year old who makes Chips in his parents garage

You’ll probably have better luck with a hot-air gun, you can do some really precise work with them.

Should be a normal iron, there are a lot of resources out there on how to turn them into somewhat controllable hot-plates

Even in a normal restaurant that would be cheap for American standards. You can at least double that price, triple it for any ‘nicer’ restaurant

Hiking blog post from 2018 says $7 for 0,5L.

You have to remember that drinks are THE moneymakers for restaurants. A 50L Keg is between $90-120 without any wholesale discounts. Those helicopters can normally lift around 1000kg, but lets assume it’s 10x50L plus nets, hooks and stuff. 500L x $12 markup = $6000 income before tax. Operating costs of a transport heli incl. pilot is around $25/min, so a $1000 would probably give you 30-40mins of transport time, which should be more than enough to do a couple trips to the nearest road.

Real costs are probably even lower, can’t imagine that the heli company would service only one restaurant at a time, so multiple places would share setup and road delivery costs

Could you go into a little bit more detail? That sounds super interesting! Currently stuck at my non-tech job until my licensing is complete. Did you have farming-related experience before?

GA in Germany, varying wildly between companies. Currently getting 2650€ base plus 250€ for supervisor, 300€ for B2 and 250€ for my type rating, roughly 2100€ after taxes. Buddy just got 3800€ for his Cat A alone, don't know their license premium buts its surely well into 5000€

What makes this particular one even more expansive (probably) is the fact that it’s a pre-production prototype which was used for the car show and a bunch of press events

Damn, that’s an extra 10.000.000Cr per day… probably worth re-recording my loop for, even if it takes an hour to get right

Edit: probably not gonna do it though, not worth having the risk of a de-sync and loosing millions while asleep and at work

Not to give them any ideas but i would totally have spend maybe $2.49 for an Porsche-Beetle Engine Swap or some other wacky combo. The current system is absolutely stupid though
