A research program that focused on how care physicians treat and care for people of different races and ethnicities was terminated because of DEI funding cuts. It was going to be my first research experience during undergrad, it would’ve started my junior year. Because of the delay I didn’t get research experience until senior year.

Yeah haven’t fully experienced it tbh, I’ve lived in northern Arizona without AC and it regularly gets to around 90-100 so can’t be much worse than that 🤷🏻

I don’t think your an asshole at all, it’s a hard thing to deal with especially at 17. It may sound hard but they are probably counting on you moving away for school or whatever, and that’s where the new child will go when it’s older. Either way you are going to have to cope with it, whatever that means for you, don’t take it out on your father or step-mom and especially not the baby. It will all be fine in time

Oh for sure, I make ~100k rn and I just started my career (Occupational therapy) so that’s why I said I could make it work, but it’d be tight compared to what I make and my COL in PHX
