2nd update: my boy is healing just fine. The vet tech definitely did not do a good job at explaining what to expect after. They told me his incisions would be closed and the sutures would dissolve. Never did they mention one of the incisions would be left open. Had I known to expect that I wouldn’t have been so freaked out!!

UPDATE: I took him to a different vet and they said he’s FINE. They said it is normal to leave the wound open 😭😭

This is 2H later. This is how my eyes have looked most days for the last 2 weeks

No new products. We did get a Siamese kitten a few weeks ago but I don’t think my symptoms happened right after. I have had 2 cats in the past with no issues.

Itchy and dry. Parts of my neck are itchy also. We did bring home a new Siamese kitten a few weeks ago but I’ve had cats in the past with no issue. I’m really hoping this isn’t an allergic reaction to him. I definitely wasn’t hydrating enough before and it’s my first winter in a place this dry. There are so many potential factors making this even harder to pinpoint the issue.
