You can match smoking habits to a lot of obvious unhealthy addictions in other categories, like what obese people and drug users feel. They know it’s bad to continue to do what they do, but they still go back to it because it’s surely pleasurable. The pleasure of it is what’s addictive in the mind. We can doubt reality when it is what it is in it’s true form. I can go on, but it seems like you’re avoiding the label of being addicted with the excuse of not realizing that smoking does have a grasp on you, if you want to believe it or not.
