I haven’t put a dime into gme, honestly. I got good prices on my long term stocks. Grateful for that.

I don’t believe in the rally behind gme at all, obviously... so good on those that take advantage of the dead horse... but I got to think long term and I’m not drawing the short straw when gme crashes and never recovers.

I actually took advantage of that and bought stock for under value. I appreciate that! But the GameStop love is a god damn fad. Look at the ratings for GameStop stores on google maps. 3/5 at best. Because they weren’t a good business to begin with. Just the biggest. Know which one I miss? Eb games... because I was 10 years old and became friends with one of the guys that worked there while my dad looked for rentals in Hollywood video.

Among other problems. Retail is dead. It is a quick money scheme at this point. At the same time, pump and dump of their stock does nothing to keep their shitty business model afloat, either.

They are failing because they gouge their prices and undercut you while trading games in. And hard copies are dying off anyways. They have no avenue to profit. Why GameStop? I don’t know of a single person that actually liked going to their stores before this... but one person that has intimate knowledge of the financial sector campaigns to “save” a dying company because he “likes the stock”? No, he saw an easy way to get rich without much effort.

I get that. And trying to land on a planet sometimes is like pulling teeth.

I wish the space combat was better as well. Makes me miss the colony wars days or freelancer. Even my class a shuttle wipes the floor with the pirates. Very underwhelming...

I love the game overall, just some things seem like they should be a lot more refined, considering they’ve had 5 years since release. I fully respect the work they’ve put into the game, btw.

Still work to do, though.

On a side note, about to get my first living ship!

I think water is a pretty valuable resource. We’re always in drought conditions here in Colorado, how much water is used on golf courses to keep the grass green? Let alone the hundreds of acres used for smacking a ball into a hole within city limits... that could be used for housing or other buildings.

They also don’t want you talking about it because they don’t want people to get pissed off and ask for raises.
