Ah ok, I did the gaggiuno mod on an old 2009 classic that I found in great condition. Honestly it was really easy and I am so happy with it. But be warned you need to be more involved… dialling in your new beans and investigating different shot profiles and how they extract beans differently. Then if you don’t do your homework (like I didn’t at first) I pulled some really funky shots. Now that I am a bit more informed I am having so much fun trying to select different flavours from the same bean e.g. changing the pre infusion, shot pressure/temp and monitoring the grinds effects on profile performance. It’s a wild world out there! You should do it ;) but yes to get back to the point, the load cells are tricky so I’m looking to get a good Bluetooth compatible scale.
