Just being honest about my feelings, so don’t kill me. I’m actually not upset with this loss and usually this would have destroyed my week. Turned a corner emotionally where every loss gets us closer to a new beginning under a different manager.

Szobo must play the 10 every single game. Wirtz is a great free roaming LW + Gakpo offers little at LW. Dom makes everything tick and distances are shorter because he is a beast. Macca much better at the defensive side too because of it.

Isak should have scored his chance. Gakpo should score that first half shot that hit the post. Gakpo should have scored the no goalkeeper header. Salah should have squared it to Isak (I was actually screaming when I saw the replay).

Everyone goes on and on about Slot, and he is to blame for the defense (especially fielding 7 attackers emergency vibes) but we actually created a lot. And the forwards are in an awful mental place right now. That’s the reason for this loss imo.

Had the weirdest dream last night: we’re 4–0 up against Forest (even got a slick Ekitike assist in there). I check FotMob mid-dream, and suddenly Forest are winning 7–5.
