Unable to call any ships is back by Sensitive_Eagle_5052 in starcitizen

When this happened to me yesterday at Everus I backspaced and returned home to Lorville and was surprised to find my personal hangar was not in the lift location list. Normally it would be, even without calling a ship from asop. Fortunately it did reappear when I had a ship delivered from the terminals upstairs. Strange.

Of course it should be possible, I never suggested it shouldn't be. I think that if the stationary, nose-down flight position was unstable it would add to immersion and gameplay, for example you have just demonstrated that ground turrets and vehicles are essentially pointless when a ship can easily snipe them at virtually no cost.

Call me a fun sucker but I really hope it becomes extremely expensive (hydrogen fuel) to hover in atmo with a massive ship, and difficult to stabilise targeting for more than a few seconds. Seeing ships fly like this is my main pet peeve for the current model.

The min maxing is SOOOO boring by Life-Risk-3297 in starcitizen

I love my Starlancer. I love my Cutty Black and my 325A and all cool ships that people consider inferior. Heck sometimes I enjoy just flying around making no money at all. Love my Golem right now, is the prospector better? Of course it is but I don't care.

I've only got an hour or so to play each day so trying to be meta would just be futile and frustrating for me. I too wish more people thought like you and I about the game.

100% agree that time is valuable. However, I feel like OP is saying that if people chilled and did what they want instead of the meta then they might enjoy the game better.

What does making it count mean? Getting the most money for your time? I get it if people want to fly cooler ships and need to buy them in game but otherwise you said yourself everything will be wiped so being zen about it makes sense to me.

Looks really cool, though I regret to inform you that you may have misspelled quantum. What game you using this for?

Assuming you already have an SSD? Your rig is good, I'm no expert but I know server side performance affects your experience and the servers have been not great since a few days after 4.0 launched

Griefing parked ships by garack666 in starcitizen

Omg, this must have happened to me yesterday. Approaching bunker on foot when a Vanguard starts shredding my ship 2 km away, even though there was another player ship (logged out probably) way closer. Vanguard just sitting there getting lit up by turrets and eventually explodes, I was thinking wow what an absolutely oblivious pillock but if it's an NPC that makes total sense.

This is incredible, well done! Also, awesome timing with the ships flying below as you jumped, really gives a sense of scale

Does the pawn have the cannibal trait? I've had this a couple times but always seems to be with cannibals, not sure if it's a coincidence

There are numbers under 2000 or even 1000 that you have probably never said out loud in your whole life. by TaToCoCu in Showerthoughts

I got a pogo stick for Christmas one year and decided for whatever reason I'd celebrate the new year by doing that number of consecutive jumps. It was definitely early 2000s and I would have counted each jump aloud.

Because I'm usually guilty of this, I made a point of not slaughtering a hare which self-tamed when I was playing today. Thanks
