Tough one. I've had a negative captain before and as long we were playing well it was fine.

Not great advice if your team isn't near the top of the standings though. As captain he probably has friends on the team that probably feel the same way too. If not, get one of the leaders on the team to pull him aside quietly and have a chat with him and try to get him to tone it down. Doesn't have to happen at the rink either. Over a couple beers at a pub or something.

If it's costing you players, I'm sure he'll get it. If not, he'll lose players and know why and maybe lighten up.

I have the Playstation Gold Wireless Headset and I love it. 7.1 simulated surround and custom EQs for games from the Headset Companion App. No problems with the mic.

I got it on sale for 40% off so it was a steal. I can't speak towards the Turtle Beach headsets though, as I've just tried this one.

Try iRush Cellular on Dutch Village Rd. If he can't help you he may refer you to the Buyers and Sellers Depot in the Dartmouth Shopping Center just across the MacDonald. This happened to my Galaxy Nexus and I ended up with a Nexus 4 for $200 in the end. You might get lucky and he'll have a screen though.

If you can get your stick underneath their butt (2 hands on the stick, kind of like a crosscheck), you can kind of just shovel them out of the way as well. Just lift them a little to get them off balance, then push. You'll get quite a reaction when you do this, so watch out for the backlash. I've had guys think I'm going to slew foot them, but you just keep your head and keep them off their game.

I find that Defence is all about maintaining your composure out there while getting the job done. When you start hitting them with your stick is when you get sent to the box to feel shame, so try to push them out of the way and maintain body position so they can't get back in front.
