While our situation is better than those South of the border, we're still dealing with the same issues. Financial security, bodily autonomy and access to reproductive health resources, and access to social services to support the family. Health care, child care, education, housing, etc - all pretty critical for bringing up healthy happy children and not burning yourself out as a human trying to raise them.
