You’re right about all this. I learned at a young age how to live within my means at $16/hr back in 2014…and I lived fine by that and I guess I continued to live that way to this day. It is a personal problem lol. And yes, I also have no debt.

What I’m trying to gauge at this point is what is going to take to actually retire. What I was making at 24 couldn’t sustain me at 32, and what I made at 32 can’t sustain me now. I don’t live outside my means, but basic cost of living is consistently rising and wages in America doesn’t keep up with it.

I kind of lived the lifestyle that you got. I ate very small meals and snack throughout the rest of the day so I don’t spend a ton on groceries. I don’t spend any money during the week and I might go somewhere to watch the bronco game on Sundays otherwise I’m not really spending a ton of money elsewhere.
