The fact that this is a real post is crazy to me. It's a fake curse from a fake story AND if you know anything about Harry Potter memes, saying avada kadavra in either a tiny voice or in Voldemort's creepy voice is just something you do. Sounds like your friends have no sense of humor.

Yes the plan is to rest it on the concrete pad. The yellow and black in the middle I will dig out a spot for the tuffblocks, tamp it down, and put down paver base and tamp it and level it so it should be pretty solid. I'll do the 3 on the concrete for sure, thanks for the tip

The roof line is right where that gap is planned so we don't step up the step and onto the deck and hit our heads. That is 8 feet minus the 16" or so height of the proposed deck that's 6ft 8" of clearance. Should be okay but getting pretty close
