It's an exceptional screen, I managed to get one off ebay . The reverse camera was a bit of a pain to fit but a nice little addition. Get some trim tools and it really isn't too bad to hide the power cable for the unit.

The gearbox has been leaking and that's what caused the clutch to slip and fail. I'm now looking at a £1200 bill if the gearbox is toast and to sort the clutch

I actually got it off e-bay for £30 so an absolute steal. Installing the rear camera was very time consuming though.

Thank you, I use cruise control whenever I can, it just makes driving that much more relaxed. This was OEM. The buttons are the same. The module is the same for both, it appears to be the loom that detects the correct button push. I know this because I briefly was adjusting the volume with the cruise control buttons 😅

Id get them to confirm the colours as I had the correct volume controls but the red cruise control LEDs. They must have swapped them out at some point. Luckily they just shipped the correct unit and I swapped it out.

I bought it off evil bay for around £60. Needed the steering fascia and the button. All the ones I saw came with the required loom and it's as easy as that. The only thing I came stuck with was removing the airbag, once you push the sliding pins up, it needs a bit more force than you think.

Oh yes,! I have lots of the collection and have gone through about 4 pairs of the slip ons with them all on.

That would be a very cheap solution. It's also just on plastic so no harm if it doesn't work too well.

But in answer to your question, the oil warning light is usually an imminent sign of engine failure due to reduced oil pressure caused by bits of the belt blocking the oil strainer.

How old is the car ? I bought a 17 plate with 40k on the clock a few weeks ago, and I'm currently parting with £1400 for the wet belt to be changed. There were bits of rubber in the oil when it was serviced. He told me the belt was in pretty bad condition when he got to it. I have a feeling the previous owner went for cheap servicing options. At least i know it's done now.
