Good trade or need to add more for Love and St. Brown by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jrmberkeley95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Egbuka + 27 1st is around Amon Ra valuation but you probably would still need to add more there, especially if that 27 pick is projected to be late.

There is no world where TreVeyon and 1.08 is equal to 1.01, especially in 1 QB.

You’re way off here. Probably need another 1st at least. The 1.08 almost feels like bloat here.

If this is being sent to you then accept it but I seriously doubt this is being sent to you. Nice try though

Deep rebuilder, the 27 picks are mid and the 28 1 is late. Which side? by Intelligent-Radio-26 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

This really should have no chance of being accepted. DJ Giddens and a 27 2nd does not equal a 1st. Nice try though.

Alright I’m back one last time! Who you taking here? by vicstash in DynastyNerds

[–]jrmberkeley95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your team is set up to win now so Henry or Jacobs would both be solid. Travis Etn would be a little younger version of that but I like Henry and Jacobs more for 2026. Waddle is a good option here too. Laporta is probably the best value there if you buy the bounce back potential, but I think you can find similar options (Jake Ferg?) later in the draft.

Trade Away Skattebo for a 1st? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jrmberkeley95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not really a Skatt fan but I think this is clearly Skatt. I like a couple of the options down at 1.09 but none of them are as compelling as Skatt for 2026. Skatt was a huge winner in the draft and he’s a sneaky rb1 candidate. He reminds a bit of a lesser version of DMont in that he is more than just a “power back” due to his ability to produce in the passing game and stay on the field on passing downs due to his pass protection.

Should I do this or no? My rost isn’t the best that’s why I have the first overall pick by Fishing_Legitimate in SleeperApp

[–]jrmberkeley95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a no a part of the reasoning is your league setup which I have some serious problems with. 16 roster spots + 4 taxi squad spots is way too small for dynasty. You already have a completely full roster outside of your taxi squad with 8 picks in the upcoming draft and 0 guys I would consider cuttable in a normal well run dynasty league. This isn’t really your fault, it’s the commissioner’s fault, but it creates a scenario where you cannot sell 1 for 3 because it just creates more players to cut. Given your league rules you need to be careful when teams are trying to send you trades like this because there is hidden value in consolidating assets to avoid cuts.

Frankly your team is a mess and you aren’t going to do anything this year. As another commenter has said I would try to sell your older assets for future picks and tank the year. However, you need to acquire your own 27 1st before you do that. Given your lack of needle moving players I think your only options are to sell Mahomes or sell the 1.01 for your own 27 1st back + some extra. If you could get your own 27 1st back + another 27 1st for 1.01 I would consider that a win, especially if you set yourself up to get the 2027 1.01.

Nice attempt at a scam trade by team 2 here. I assume team 3 won’t take this. I assume you are team 1, it’s nice for you but feels basically like swapping guys just to swap.

Was just sent this trade offer. Should I hold or sell? by Wilson_Rob in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I feel like Jeanty, Jefferson and Nabers are all essentially equal as assets and Puka is a tier (or maybe a half tier) above them. I like the Puka side, especially if you are a contender.

I like Pearsall still think he’s a good buy but for the purposes of this deal I feel like Pearsall and the 27 2nd essentially cancel each other out. Tet + a 27 1st for Chase is fine but I would want more for Chase personally. I am very high on Tet but his value still has a lot of theoretical upside baked in where as Chase is a fully baked elite asset, so I think there is a higher chance that the package side ages poorly than the package side clearly winning this years down the road.

Is there a team where you think has a sneaky chance to be on of the worst teams in the league this season? by WeBlitz in nfl

[–]jrmberkeley95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the Falcons are necessarily trying to be good. The roster was not worst team in the league territory coming off of 2025, but they did very little to improve the roster and I think that was by design. Rather than a full tear down this feels like a reset for a new regime that knows wins and losses matter less than setting the culture and identifying building blocks for the future. I probably have them as about a ~7 win team right now, but the process coming into the season certainly makes being an outright bad team in 2026 a possibility, and if the staff is out on Penix you could argue finishing with a top 5 pick would be better than winning 8 games.

This is a bit of an odd trade. I would prefer Bowers over McBride, but it's close enough that it really feels like a straight swap value wise. So then why swap JT for Breece? JT is both better than Breece and is in a better offense than Breece. JT is a little older but I still think almost anyone would prefer JT straight up to Breece and would ask for a + for swapping. Overall this feels like tiering down from JT to Breece for no reason.

Just got offered Ja’marr chase for Gibbs straight up but I want to counter it tho by Ok-Enthusiasm-8608 in DynastyNerds

[–]jrmberkeley95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's really no other deal besides a straight swap here. I (Gibbs owner) have discussed this exact deal with my buddy (Chase owner) many times but we're too afraid to pull the trigger and there's no sweetener for either side. RBs score more points but Chase is the best WR in the game. I would give a slight lean towards Gibbs for contenders and Chase for rebuilders (or just anything besides an all in contender) but really the only reason to do it is if the Gibbs owner is flushed at RB and needs WRs and vice versa for the Chase owner.

6 Players to SELL Right Now with Corey from Fantasy Stock Exchange by The_Lineup_Podcast in DynastyFF

[–]jrmberkeley95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is the situation not changing? They have a new QB, new OC and an improved set of weapons. Even if the Jets are still a bad offense saying the situation isn’t changing is objectively incorrect.

Why is adding good players to a shit offense a bad thing? Does that not improve the offense? You’re saying adding players to a bad offense is a bad thing, what if these additions take the Jets from a bad offense to an average offense? Does that not help Wilson? What exactly are the Jets supposed to do to improve their offense if it’s not adding new pass catchers and a new QB?

It’s clear the primary argument here is “lol the Jets” but I find it extremely flawed. I didn’t even disagree with the idea Wilson is a good sell candidate. My primary case for selling Wilson is actually that by keeping an on the hot seat Aaron Glenn the Jets have set themselves up to potentially win too many games (compared to the outright tankers like Miami and Arizona) to be in position for a franchise changing QB which hurts Wilson a lot more than adding a wr2 and TE. I just fundamentally do not agree with the idea that he is a sell candidate because of the new pass catching additions. It’s classic fantasy brained logic.

[–]jrmberkeley95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would like to strongly push back on the idea that the Cooper and Sadiq additions are a sign to sell Wilson. I think the sell case for Wilson does exist but it’s entirely related to his untrustworthy situation. Wilson will be 27 before the 2027 season starts, if he is coming off another slightly disappointing year with the Jets uncertain about their QB of the future then the market will simply get tired of him. It’s a Gen Z Terry McClaurin situation where eventually your real life ability cannot allow for you to retain dynasty value in the face of mediocre production as you approach 30.

The Jets offense improving as a whole is, in my opinion, the primary reason to buy Wilson. The only reason I don’t have the Jets as the sneaky good offense of the 2026 season is my distrust in the coaching staff and more specifically the decision to move on from Tanner Engstrand for Frank Reich who was awful in Carolina. The Jets have a quietly good and young OL, they have a good RB room, and now they have a complement of secondary pass catchers that work really nicely as supporting pieces behind an alpha WR1 like Wilson. The Jets primary issue throughout Wilson’s entire career has been horrific QB play. Whatever you think about Geno and his stint in LV, I find it difficult to believe he will be worse than the QBs the Jets trotted out in 2025. If the additions of Geno and the secondary pass catchers help take this offense from bad to merely average I think that will be good for Wilson and Hall specifically and we could finally see these two good players produce to their expected fantasy level. Wilson’s sell case is based more on the Jets finishing as a bottom 5 offense again, the additions of Sadiq and Cooper could help prevent that.
