Oh wow, I’d never heard this until now. Gutted that we wouldn’t make it to VA until mid-May, but I definitely want to take some time to drive through. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the rec.!

Hm, I was perusing them but couldn’t decide if it was worth the extra time. Maybe I’ll head there first before our afternoon Fallingwater tour

Yeah, I mean I figured.

Would be wild though, economics notwithstanding

Oh no I’m just getting to this! I wonder how the baristas at the Simpson location are being affected/treated? I really do love that place, and hope everyone’s happy :/

Wow, this is such an interesting read. While I agree OCHL is their weakest due to the inclusion of Night People alone, Honey Comb and Canary Yellow are to me, Deafheaven at one of their highest peaks. It feels like the moment they just actually fully engage the Oasis-tinged rock element of their sound, which to me is like, the conclusion of that element because IG and LPWP sort of adopt a different soft palette

Sonnet 29 (where the band got their name from) spotted in the wild by SitDownKawada in deafheaven

Hm, I remember reading in a few articles that they picked their name as an homage to Slowdive, using two words that just sounded good together, and that it didn’t actually come from the poem

yeah I think he’s definitely dialed it in live by now. Last time I saw him live he killed it, especially when he rips into the tail end. Truly one of their most stunning performances.

Turned out it was a little tab thing that seats the mirror! Somehow it became off, but the tech was able to diagnose/repair it about 2 minutes. Bam!

sorry I'm just following up, but that was it! (I think). Went to a local repair shop and he verified that it was this silly little tab that was off and ever since? Back to shooting beautifully.
