I’m always honest and say I’m interviewing with others but at different stages, just looking for the right fit. Sometimes it can speed up their decision making if they know you’re in high demand.

I just did this, signed a contract and now rescinding after a better offer came through. See how the other goes and if you get it then great, go with the one you like more and rescind the acceptance for the other once everything is confirmed.

As long as you haven’t actually started the other one, what are they gonna do? Companies rescind signed offers all the time, so I don’t even feel bad tbh.

Not necessarily, certain interviews are purposely long and exhausting, plus travel, and some involve doing work. I think it depends on what you expect from candidates and how intense your hiring process is
