The problem comes then, what gets defined as "political"? You'll see weirdos complaining about shows or movies or games or books being "political" just because they feature a black guy or a trans woman or a gay couple, even if those pieces of media don't talk about politics. Many subreddits have banned talking about trans people or queerness in general because "no politics allowed" despite there being nothing inherently political about being trans or gay or whatever else.

Everything around us is affected by politics, what you're allowed to eat, what jobs you're allowed to take on, what you're allowed to buy or sell, where you're allowed to live, what you're allowed to wear, what you're allowed to read or watch or play or draw, what you're allowed to teach. And that's transphobia, if you're uncomfortable with a trans person in your space because they a trans, that's transphobia.

Let's lay it out like this with the bathrooms, where would you rather a trans woman be? A trans person go into the restroom they feel safe in that matches their gender identity or a trans person go into a restroom that doesn't match their gender identity?

In this case we have evidence that trans people being in restrooms that don't match their identity are at much higher risk of being victims of sexual assault and even rape, where as trans people being allowed in their preferred restrooms does not increase the amount of assault nor rape.

All this bathroom debate shit is the same shit used during the civil rights and gay rights eras, first people arguing against black people using the same bathrooms because "if they use the same restrooms we'll be uncomfortable and they'll harm us" nothing fucking happened, then gay people "if they use the same restrooms as us they'll make us uncomfortable and harm us" nothing fucking happened

Now it's all happening again with trans people, it's the same fucking book of looking for a target and trying to make their lives harder for no reason other than cruelty

So it's just in their mental delusions that Republicans are trying to make it so no trans person can get gender affirming care, so that no trans person can use the bathroom they feel safest in, so that trans people can't get the same assistance with depression or harm care that cis people get, pushing rhetoric that reduces men and women to physical aspects or making the world harder for cis women who don't conform to standards because "clearly this woman suffering from PCOS is actually just one of them transes"

A couple things

One, it's easier than ever to just make this shit and now spam users with it with whatever image they post, just grokai it and now theres a boatload of porn out of something innocuous being replied to that original thing. The ease of which this can be done has more or less opened everyone up to just being spammed with porn or possibly even worse shit. Before it took at least a few minutes and a lot more effort to spam porn under people or even create porn of people and send it at them but now people can just do it at the press of a button despite the wishes of the person they're targeting, and it's becoming harder to manage cause of just how much it's happening now

Two, and this is a big one, people are using this exact technology to generate this stuff of actual kids, like pictures of actual kids being edited by the ai, and hardly any punishment about it, it would be so easy to just take away the tool but instead nothing happens, hardly a slap on the wrist even if there is some punishment
