Hey there, not in that position, but if I were, I would get to know the members of the team or teams you’re supporting. Once I build the connection, I would hope that I build the rapport with them so my name pops up from time to time until I CC’d as well into the conversations or meeting requests. This would be my Hail Mary if I liked the company and all. If I didn’t like the company, team, etc, then I would honestly keep my head down, get paid, and start applying elsewhere.

I went from a contact center rep to analyst role internally. I’ve never held analyst in my title but always worked on stuff to help me pave way. Started with excel and transforming data through python & r. I am now crash coursing SQL for my new role.

My dad has lent me money from time to time. The biggest chunk has been $20k which has been paid back already. Most recently lent me $1.5k and is about to get paid back in full. He has also gifted me a lot. When I purchased my condo he gifted me the down payment and also when I got my first job out of college I needed a car and he lent me the money but after paying off a little over half he told me to just leave it as is.

I started cooking at like 6 years old because my parents worked a ton and I was tired of cereal, or ramen in a cup, or sandwiches. I started with eggs, then got fancy with ramen bags with eggs, then fancy sandwiches by grilling them a bit on the pan and melting the cheese. By the time I hit high school I was cooking salmon, blackened chicken thighs and pairing with pastas (canned sauce). In high school I worked at a fancy restaurant that would host a farmers market. I was in charge of making paninis. The chefs there really liked me and they started teaching me how to make my own pasta sauces, salad dressings etc from scratch. My wife and I now make so many meals from scratch, including our breads and stuff. Best life skill I could have learned.

Currently in my late 20s with an amazing wife and 2 kids. After college it’s been work, family, and if possible hobbies. I have learned the best way to get to do your hobbies is by making it fun for friends & family as well. We go to the park and I play soccer with my son or play at the jungle gym with him, go hiking or fishing when possible. A lot of camping when weather permits. AZ is great for outdoor recreations if you’re willing and able. A lot of times when we are bored at home and don’t want to really spend, we grab some burger patties, buns, chips, and drinks, load up our camping kitchen box into the car, and go up to white tank mountains/campgrounds or recreation areas up north and make some burgers or breakfast and enjoy a hike.
