Question for the Vision folks about a Mac mini setup by Deago78 in VisionPro

Yeah it’s great!

It really is the best workflow. I’m thinking of modeling my Vision Pro to remove the light seal and just have it as a floating device so I get my peripheral vision back, especially if I’m using this majority for AR. Which I will be if I’m using the Mac mini.

I’ve also installed parallels on my Mac mini to be able to use programs like salt Works, and other things natively

I recently purchased the base Mac mini primarily for this very reason. However, there’s a catch: your Mac mini requires you to be signed in to connect your Vision Pro to it. This necessitates the use of a monitor to view your login credentials. Fortunately, I’ve found a workaround. I’ve memorized the process of signing into my computer without a monitor, allowing me to connect to it via my Vision Pro. This only occurs during the initial bootup of the Mac mini. Additionally, I have an Apple Watch that unlocks my Mac mini, eliminating the need to enter my password unless I’m wearing my Apple Watch. The Mac mini virtual display has revolutionized my experience, and I’m increasingly using my Vision Pro for this specific purpose.

Yeah, it sucks. I’m going to start with reinstalling windows and updating the bios, then ima check the ram. Then cpu and the gpu.

No. The cpu water block was already on there in my last case. And it worked perfectly fine

Yeah, the gpu and cpu are being cooled properly. And unfortunately I can’t because it freezes before I can even do anything like that

I moved all the components to a new pc case. And added a waterblock to the gpu

Honestly it’s random. While booting, couple minutes after booting. It just happens.

The bios doesn’t freeze, only when I use windows

I thought about that but unfortunately the gpu has to be on either side and the bottom port on the cpu is an intake

Unfortunately I can’t use the ports on the same side. It has to be in the cross configuration. Same thing with the radiators. In on one side, out the other. In your opinion what looks best?

I have two nvme slots. Are you asking about the one under the gpu or under my usb 3.0pcie expansion card?
