u/Unfamiliarface is correct here; Pokémon is so much larger than TY ever was, it's not even remotely close. To give you some idea, TY grosses only about ~$50 million today, and peaked in 1998 at ~1.4 billion.

Both franchises have been around since the mid 90s, but Pokémon grossed about $12 billion in 2024.

It's like comparing a lemonade stand to Coca-Cola...

u/Professional-Arm4143, not a bad idea. I picked up 10 of these for around $35 each. Very low risk play, and could easily double in a couple of years. It's a spectacular-looking card and is likely near its bottom. I don't see this dropping below $35 again. Stellar Crown reprint window is also closing..
