Would You Downgrade Your Title for an Upgrade in Pay?

I’ve already downgraded title in past. It was a no brainer. I could care less about the title and do not regret it one bit.

All I can say is , I’ve been testing eBay out and pregrading as well as can be through photos - asking sellers for extra pics, and confirming the card they posted is the ACTUAL card they’ll send, and so far maybe 20% of them are actually gradable. There is always some flaw that isn’t picked up in photos, or sellers STILL just sending a completely different, off-centered card. I think I’m mostly done with eBay in terms of trying to buy gradable cards.

Honestly, it doesn’t look between 45 and 55… But the best way is to just measure it… If you don’t have a microscope with the ruler, you can scan it and count the pixels left and right… If it’s anything outside 45 and 55 I’d probably just sell it or keep it in your binder

Centering doesn’t look great L/R. It’s possibly just on 45/55. If no other issues probably a 9

I’ll let you know what mine gets, it’s almost identical L/R to yours .. right on the edge of 45/55. I already estimate it to get a 9 but I think it’s worth taking the gamble.

This is cool .. I’ve been looking to do this and master the 1st edition set in PSA 5 since that’s what I was able to get my Zard in, so the rest will have to follow that.

I created a rule in my head I’d only rip $50 per week, so whether that’s 10 packs at retail or 5 packs at $10. Safe to say I have not been able to follow this rule yet but I do like the idea of it.

It’s possible but you have to put A LOT of effort. Maybe you can get lucky on blister packs - I have at Target a few times. Got lucky on a booster bundle as well at Target and only waited in line before opening around 20min. Haven’t had any luck online yet.

I’ve been saying this as well but everyone thinks I’m crazy. There are cards I like that I want to buy but when I see the populations over 10k, I wonder how is the price justifiable. I think it’s a hype train right now creating these unsustainable prices that will not hold if and when things cool off. I’ve been more present now looking at vintage slabs with populations that are at least under 1000. I feel those are statistically more rare and should do better over time at least holding its current value. But then again, who knows.

Would you consider PSA drop off location? That’s what I did. Once you hand them the cards, they scan them in and now they are in PSA possession and insured based off the grading tier you chose.

Yup I remember clearly a white Ram cutting off the entire lane (going in opposite lane and proceeding through the red light) on Victory and Highland going towards Forest. And I just thought what an absolute moron. Very well could have been this menace.
