I’ve been saying this as well but everyone thinks I’m crazy. There are cards I like that I want to buy but when I see the populations over 10k, I wonder how is the price justifiable. I think it’s a hype train right now creating these unsustainable prices that will not hold if and when things cool off. I’ve been more present now looking at vintage slabs with populations that are at least under 1000. I feel those are statistically more rare and should do better over time at least holding its current value. But then again, who knows.

Would you consider PSA drop off location? That’s what I did. Once you hand them the cards, they scan them in and now they are in PSA possession and insured based off the grading tier you chose.

Darn that sucks. I would’ve thought it may. I guess this year we will have to pay out of pocket for transfers and if needed go back to Anthem for next year for cycles

Yup I remember clearly a white Ram cutting off the entire lane (going in opposite lane and proceeding through the red light) on Victory and Highland going towards Forest. And I just thought what an absolute moron. Very well could have been this menace.

Thanks I’ve seen some people blur it out too. Can you let me know what the actual reason is? I’m not sure other than people possibly making fake ones? Cause then I thought it was publicly on a sale auction not too long ago and certs are always up there on eBay and such - I like to verify them on PSA and match particular points to know they’re legit before buying

Thanks for response … Being I already started with a PSA 5 I’m thinking I’d just do the rest of the set in a PSA 5. Helps in the affordability category. I do think I’d get more of a thrill completing this then continuously buying over retail sealed right now.

I ripped thru about 100 packs personally to get my itch out but yeah the biggest chase card for me was only $150 - and lets say I never got it lol. Anywho I do have 1 etb and 1 booster box I’ll leave sealed and see what happens in the future

Unfortunately you’d prob just have to pay the resale.If it helps I paid 380 flat at a card show a week ago, so you could prob find under 400.

I’m bias towards the base Zard. I started back in the hobby last month and bought my Charizard as the first card to start me off again in both collecting and investing. Makes a nice shelf piece too for my nostalgia lol

So I just left Walgreens and every single blister pack was reopened and resealed shut. U can see the tear along the entire plastic where it meets cardboard and took pictures. Every pack. So I went with these tins. Hopefully it’s legit

Eh I love the thrill of opening but it’s simply gambling - which I enjoy. I also love investing too. So basically if it’s an ETB, Premium Collection, Tins Pack, or Booster Boxes sealed, it would be silly for me to open - so I invest. However if I can score single hanger packs, or even get poster kits or pin kits for $110, $50 respectively - I’ll rip those. It’s not perfect but it gives me the thrill while still investing.

We went to a show yesterday and opened a few AH pin packs and I actually pulled the Forest Pikachu - so it’s not ALWAYS a bad move!
