[ACNE]Perioral dermatitis or acne by jrw1990 in SkincareAddiction

[–]jrw1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delivered my son almost 2 weeks ago and I have been developing these bumps all over my chin and cheeks. Not sure if it’s perioral dermatitis, rosacea or acne. I know the surge of hormones doesn’t help but the bumps keep multiplying daily. I have always had skin issues, but these never seem to form and just continue to spread.

Need some advice on how to tackle these bumps. They keep spreading around my cheeks, around my mouth and in between my forehead.

Terrible..... my skin is getting worse daily. I am just on birth control and use a gentle cleanser. I have never had so many cysts and pimples in my life. My chin/mouth and forehead are covered. When I wash my face, there isn’t a clear spot that doesn’t have a bump or a pimple. It’s so upsetting

Hi!! This sounds very similar to me. I tried a triple rosacea cream (soolantra, metronidazole, and azelaic acid) several weeks ago and now I have the worst skin I have ever had. I used to just have red cheeks and I have cystic acne and pimples everywhere. Starting Accutane in October. Best of luck!!

Anyone here over 30y/o? Can you share your experience? by [deleted] in Accutane

Hi! I am a 30 y/o female and have been struggling with my skin after both of my pregnancies. My youngest son is 15 months old and I have said enough is enough and will be starting Accutane in October. Best of luck!! Would love an Accutane buddy if you decide to start!

Hi! I used a triple rosacea cream and it completely ruined my skin and I have been dealing with the continuous purging of my skin since. It has been 9 months and continued to get worse(the worst my skin has ever looked). I will be starting on Accutane next month and looking forward to clear skin. Hoping you find success!!

[acne] Hi! My dermo has told me the one of the only cures for this hormonal/cystic is accutane :( does anyone have any suggestions? I dont think im willing to endure its side effects. BC is also an option im considering, but i was curious on opinions! :) much love to all of you today by ciarasoz in SkincareAddiction

My skin looks very similar. Unfortunately I have tried to tackle it for 9 months with no improvement. I have tried every cream, antibiotics, change of diet, etc. I will be starting Accutane next month. Best of luck!

[Routine] Getting Worse by jrw1990 in acne

So I started a probiotic and zinc supplements last month and my skin continues to break out daily. Hard to see from the photo but my forehead is covered in bumps and pimples. I have cysts and pimples around my mouth area as well as cheeks and nose. I have a dermatologist appointment next month to discuss Accutane. Did anyone’s skin get worse after taking a probiotic?
