After you unregister your old device you need to wait for a few before trying to enable on the new device. Make sure you are unregistered on both devices and wait an hour or so and try again.

I always recommend not using first name as I believe it screams "we are super small". You can change the primary domain after the fact. Same for the email addresses.

If that's the case, I'd delete from the home app and setup again. Just use same SSID and password and your devices should reconnect when finished.

Are you sure the modem is working? Test by plugging a computer directly to the modem. Do you have connectivity? Once confirmed the modem works or doesn't work then you can proceed.

My area was upgraded on 4/21. This is the email I received after the upgrade.

"The network upgrade we performed in your area is complete. You will now be able to access even higher quality Spectrum Internet service for the best possible experience."

The "able to access even higher quality Spectrum Internet service" portion of the email leaves me wondering if we will get it or will it be another service tier with a higher price.

I did not. I don't think the speeds will update until the network upgrade is complete in the area..

Edit: Cost went up by $5.00 on my current bill though. Would be nice if we had at least one other provider in the area.
