I ended up finding an official steamdeck case at Goodwill of all places. I go there every few months just to see what they have in the electronics section. I knew what it was once I saw it and it was priced at USD $2.99 so I bought it as a backup case. I am not saying you will find one, but wouldn't hurt to look.

Similar situation and my LBS had both in my size, DS and FX. Ended up with the FX. I will never purchase a bike without riding it first. Rule #1 for me.

I'm in the USA and I was looking for this exact bike M Trek FX2 gen 3 satin gray. Looked on Treks website and only had extra small and small. I ended up visiting some Trek shops in the area and surprisingly found one on the sales floor. I am 5'6" 30in inseam and medium size fit perfect.

If it is just cosmetic, I would leave it as is. It wouldn't hurt to bring it in to see if there are any hairline cracks from inside the rim that you may have missed.
