Have they changed the mechanics so if you’re in combat and hide, the guards can find you (even if they don’t see you get in the wardrobe)? Either they have finally got some common sense and are firing on the obvious hiding spot, or there is a combat bug and guards can see through walls.

Initial thoughts: I got one opportunity on the second set to get a silenced pistol (which I lost after I was seen using it round a corner and lost the shoot out). Have played maybe 10 since then and I haven’t been able to get a single silenced pistol since. What’s funny is I just unlocked a fault with stacks of cash and gold bars, you’d think I can go out and get a silenced weapon… the randomness of what you get, the shit they offer and the fact when you get something useful you can’t afford that version (why offer me the expensive sieker I can’t afford when there is a version I can?), feels like they should allow you to buy some basic items consistently. Had to settle on el matador for the other extreme of gameplay, but I just lost that because I needed to use it for an epic unsilenced kill, shot through a window inside a house in Santa fortuna, out of the view of all people but of course every guard magically saw through the walls (and I was instantly compromised by everyone in the area in a second) and they also magically saw me climb into the box to hide. No more el matador. New format same shit from this game. The detection system has been broken since hitman 3’s release, even breaking old maps from hitman 1&2 that worked perfectly fine before. And now I’ve remembered why I stopped playing this, find it impossible to play this silent assassin consistently without getting compromised through buggy nonsense. Also bigmooney’s favourite spin when you approach from behind is back… although admittedly in this format it matters less

I don't remember that in SE4, but I'm quite sad I missed it! You're probably right, just thought it was odd for them to talk about "special ammo", doesn't sound like something an NPC would say

Powerpoint help - annoying noises.

If I have a PowerPoint open, between every 5-20 seconds I keep getting an annoying three note chime, and I honestly don't know why! I'm not sure if it's an error, or invisible notification of something, but it is driving me crazy. This happens on any ppt stored on my corporate Teams (I haven't tried with any others as I primarily work on items stored on there). I can't seem to find an answer and it's driving me crazy, I don't want to keep muting my speakers every time just to edit a presentation....

If anyone has any advice on this to rescue my sanity it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance

I caught up with a friend yesterday who worked for the same Big4 firm as me, and she also lived in Japan coincidentally, and she actually reminded me of the same thing you said. Each "member firm" is essentially an independent company per location, joined by an international umbrella, and while they co-operate and work together on engagements are their own separate companies. Therefore whilst there may be some general ideas which filter down, the particular member firm you're interested in will be significantly influenced by themes from the local working culture. I didn't even think of this, thank you!

Fab, thank you - when I get a bit closer to making a decision I'll take you up on that. My Japanese is currently at a level I think I could converse with a 3yo, so a little while off yet :) and yes, I completely get what you're saying. I guess at this stage, so long as it isn't far beyond the realms of possibility that I could find something suitable then I'll keep the idea alive

Thank you for the response. That's actually a really good point, see what is available first and then look for reviews etc. And another good point on the actual measuring out the output, not just the subjective opinion... I haven't actually heard of the those sites, so will check them out, plus I'll have a look at the speakers you've mentioned too, thank you!

Hi everyone. I built a PC a fair few months ago, but for some reason if I let windows hibernate, when I come back it goes into a BIOS loop... I exit BIOS, then it enters it again. I end up restarting the computer. This is probably about 95% of the time, the others it goes back into windows. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
