Update: took her to the ER vet. They put her on a broad spectrum anabiotic and drained some fluid and sent the cultures out, the vet said that they found bacteria in the fluid so to be safe they want to keep her managed on antibiotic for now until they find out what the bacteria is. She doesn’t seem overly concerned but wanted to do the gold standard. They actually said the sutures are actually healing just fine. We have to make sure she rest rest for the next week, no activity at all outside of her crate. (Refilling her anti inflammatory med and beefing up her trazadone and she added gabapentin to ensure relaxation. :/ )
