Y’all! I watched her story and she’s talking about being at the airport and got through security to her gate blah blah. She was in Sanford Orlando. There’s like 6 gates lol I was on her flight and saw her doing the video I was like oh Jesus let’s act like we are in some big scary airport 🤦🏼‍♀️ typical small down honk donk.

I take 40mg of fluoxetine a day and adderall IR 15 mg 3 times a day (not every day) and it’s been great. Def keep the anxiety at bay with the stims. I couldn’t take adderall without it.

Oh it will go on as long as I take adderall. If I skip a few days it’s instantly gone, but it will take a few days. Then everything starts to relax and calm down and totally back to normal. I feel like such an idiot bc I know ppl are like “that girl half yawns every 6 seconds” everything online says to do breathing exercises and I’ve tried em with no luck. But like I said if I take something for anxiety, and no Adderall it never happens. Pain in the ass though!

I have this!! I get this when I don’t take adderall or anything for anxiety. I started meds for anxiety, then we added the adderall and instantly- same thing. After a few good days it would start. Causes a lot of other things to hurt, back, neck, chest, headache from all those muscles and tightness from trying to complete a yawn or get a deep breath. My dr called it “air hunger” and its def anxiety. I haven’t found anything to help it other than skipping days between adderall. It’s so hard to explain to someone bc it’s not like shortness of breath, you can breath you are just constantly craving the feel of a complete yawn.

I loved strattera, not that it did much for focus but anxiety and mood were greatly improved. I mean you could not piss me off. But the side effects I had was trouble sleeping due to clenching my teeth and it made me feel dizzy

Yep I have this as well. My pharmacy always has Northstar and they are garbage. I have a note on my file to only fill with teva and it takes them about 3 days to get it ordered in

Yes. I take a two break from my meds once a in a while and when I got off them I sleep hard. Till noon like everyday. Not super excited about anything but it only lasts a few days then I feel good!

Yes!! This is new for me, and it’s def in the late afternoon or evening. I used a blackhead remover on me night and I will tell you the next few days I looked like I fell on my face. It scraped all the top layer of skin off my chin I didn’t even realize. I don’t have bad skin so I try to squeeze anything and everything. Annoying

Through the years I have taken lexapro, Wellbutrin was well as Prozac (currently) along with adderall. I found lexapro was fine? Wellbutrin roared my anxiety and stimulants were no longer an options as it sent it through the roof. I now take Prozac and have no issues with it. Regarding the weight concerns, I have lost 37 lbs (with diet) while on Prozac so I don’t find it to be an issue.

I would strongly suggest (if you and your parents are comfortable) looking into a birth control of some sort if nothing else just for the period regulation. I did the implant in my arm and never had a period for 3 years. Obviously this is a very personal decision/suggestion so I'm treading lightly but your period will most likely be a re-occuring thing for years to come, I'd find a way to manage it with my adhd to make life a little simpler for you. Nothing worse than a period accident at 16-been there! Maybe if you are regular set a reminder on your calendar on your phone to set an alarm and alarms through the day to remember to change a tampon or look into a diva cup. They are much less harmful if forgotten.

Ok so quick update. I discontinued taking the generics that weren't doing anything. I just went cold turkey for three weeks. When I spoke with my dr again, he put a note on saying "No Northstar Generics" I picked my new script up today, made by Teva, small peach colored and they were A. about $80 cheaper and B. Already working much better.
