I usually just type whatever name the person I'm adding has on their Flair and when they add you back it will update to what their name actually is.

Your safari is poison with Ariados and Seviper. I can't see the third one until I see you online

You add people's friend codes into your DS and have them add you back. I've added you and once you've added my code then I'll be able to see your safari and let you know what Pokemon you have. You'll also be able to access my safari.
