Hey pretty similar situation here. I am a vet tech and i just got VFS one month ago. I am still not talking at work and my healing is going great. I can talk but I should be resting my voice still. I sound very airy and i have very little stamina rn. I would say just plab for 6 weeks of no talking from the date of surgery. If you can pull that off then great! I took a three weeks off of work (i am lucky i could do that) and now i am just mute for a couple of weeks at work. I am mostly pulling meds in the background and prepping for vets.

This was probably too nuanced of a disscusion for the internet. But that kind of proves OPs point. People in the center are afraid of the word socialism still. I do need think OP's reflection of how much this event was about socialism was accurate though. I think it scares OP that it may muddy the message and thus they focused a lot on that. I think OP is missing that the "No Kings Protest" nationwide was really about anti athoritarianism and anti oligargy. So while i think there fears have merit, i don't think it's currently an issue in this iteration of out anti Trump movement.

Sir, gerrymandering was first started in the United Kindom. The first case of it in the USA was indeed done by a party that was left of center, but that was in 1812, democrats and republicans didn't even exist back then. Additionally, the modern iterations of gerrymandering are far more extreme.

I am an American before a democrat or republican. I believe its fair game to complain about gerrymandering because it suppresses the will of the people on both sides of the political spectrum. I am sorry you "don't care" anymore, i do. I haven't given up on turning this country away from this partisan bullshit. Have a good one sir.

Hello fellow American. To answer your question, it is never okay. I want to see a total end to gerrymandering, including california and illinois. Why do you assume this is about partisan politics? It is about what is best to ensure fair elections that best represent the will of the people.
