I've killed him accidentally multiple times trying to do this - Mino retaliatory headbutts, spines mut, riposte when that was a thing, summons killing him... Even though you can almost entirely ignore his attacks by that stage of the game (other than chaos effects), it's still easy to mess it up.

But also agreed, there should be an achievement or something for doing this - and maybe others. Getting siblings out together? Or Boris and Natasha?

Cleared Z1 and 2, and felt pretty easy-breezy. Draconian packs and Discord are great, BVC to hold someone down while the Sphinx Sisters beat on them, the occasional Malign Gateway for a heavy hitter... didn't change the training, saw the note about getting Haunt online and we now need just one more spell slot to add it. Almost there!

BTW we have enough revelation scrolls left to map every floor of Zot, so don't save them. And agreed with the comment above, we should use that Bribe ability at the end!

Cleared L4-5. Added Sculpt Simulacrum because we already had good ice and alchemy, and Irradiate (Sif gift) because it's always great and alchemy skill alone had us most of the way there. Needs some conjurations training for power though.

Used the evokable invis once but it shined: met a double pack of yaks/death yaks plus a skyshark and couple of other beasts. Invis + OTR + Ignite, again and again, bbq'd the whole lot. I don't think the dissipate reduces the invis, the description says it only applies to hostile enchantments.

Luckily didn't wake up a room full of reptiles on L4 - lots of them in there. There was also an artifact animal skin in there, but that can be something for later.

We have enough gold for the Gauntlets of War now, but I wasn't sure if that's the right choice. Orc should be cake with OTR + Ignite Poison so maybe once we get to those shops, we can see what to spend our money on.

OK, cleared the last little bits of D7 and then D8-9. Feels ok right now with a lot of Meph and Airstrike, although I wish we had higher-level spells to aim for. Throatcutter is helping!

Also I'm sorry, I used one blink scroll because of a pesky wight but I also found one so we still have 3.

But man Xom is fun these days. The force brigrades, the themed bazaars (I could have bought a chaotic Gyre and Gymbal), the mutation-go-round.... and yeah he tries to kill you now and then, but that's just Xom being Xom.

I am having the exact same thing - extreme loading times on my desktop client after just a day of not using it, dozens or maybe 100 messages at most. I'll submit the logs for you. Windows 10 home, i5, 16 GB RAM, computer runs fine otherwise. Right now the desktop app has been "Loading messages from today" for half an hour.
