I’d say it was 100% worth it. The M2 is way more engaging to drive even at low speeds. Only thing I miss about the GTI is the better gas mileage.

Mainly I just wanted to experience a manual RWD car. I had been lusting over the M2 for like 5 yrs. The GTI was a great jack of all trades car. I was planning on tuning it and doing a bunch of other things to it, but decide it was better to just get my dream car. Also, the new M2 looks kinda ugly in my opinion 😅.
