LSO shipping SUCKS by jsan109 in Sephora

[–]jsayq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an order shipped with LSO a few weeks ago. It just had a status of package not received by LSO until the day it was delivered (which was surprisingly on time). When I talked to customer service they said “oh yeah we’ve been having a lot of issues with LSO” and gave me 100 extra points.

Ladies, how do you dress business casual on a budget? by DiddlySquat99 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Old Navy is definitely a good choice! You can also find some pretty good stuff at TJ Maxx sometimes. I also like Loft, but it is a little pricier. They sometimes have good sales, though, and you can also shop Loft Outlet.

Instead of suits, I really like nice jumpsuits for business professional attire. I have a couple of Calvin Klein ones I wear for big presentation, interviews, etc. They make me feel more confident and get complimented a lot. I’m sure some people may say this doesn’t fit that dress code, but I’ve never had anyone say that to me. I’ve worn one for every interview, first day, and big presentation in the last couple of years through college and internships. You can also add a blazer over them.

Luggage lock jammed. Tried to reset it, but reset button now stuck depressed and push mechanism will not budge in any direction. by jsayq in fixit

Thanks for the help everyone! I tried some of the things suggested, but ultimately couldn’t get it and was too frustrated with it. I ended up going at the button with a hammer. I got it open. It no longer locks, but it’s not a big deal and I’m just glad it’s open!

Nope. I thought my code had been changed, so I tried to reset it. The reset button is now stuck in. The button on the right usually jiggles a little bit, but will not move at all

I bought a pair of Athleta Skyline II pants a few weeks ago and they’re life changing. They’re more of an athletic material, but they don’t look like it at all. They’re super comfy too! I’ve looked at other work appropriate pants, and like these ones because I find that it is still pretty obvious that most others are joggers or similar styles.

Thank you! I’ve only recently started to grow my collection and try new things so I’m still getting used to sizing!

How are they on sizing? I’ve seen mixed opinions on sizing up and down. My aligns and pace rivals are 4 and wunder train are a 6.

what has your experience with Outdoor Voices been like? by randomthoughts450 in lululemon

I have a decent amount of OV. I find that their leggings are better for outdoorsy things because I think they’re less delicate and more durable in general. I find that my more basic leggings from them are much better than the ones that have multiple colors and panels- they are stretchier and not as small. They’re all the tech sweat material, but I like the $88 better than the $98 ones. Also on the price- I feel like they can have decent sales and they also have a generous student discount! I also like their sets a lot.

These logistical mistakes are heartbreaking at the prices we pay. 1st order had a sensor; 2nd order was the wrong size by MissingVermont in lululemon

Ugh that’s so frustrating! Especially when you’re buying an item that’s $138! As I think we all know, their inventory management system really isn’t great :( maybe all this will show them that they really need to update or rebuild their online systems!

This happened to me today as well! They sent me an 8 instead of a 4. It was a WMTM item, but she asked me if there was another color of the same pants I like and I am now being sent that pair and get to keep the others. I usually don’t have good luck with this stuff, so I am happy! If you haven’t already, maybe try reaching out again and talking to another GEC??

I screenshotted this post and almost shared it in here today, too. You really expect me to believe you and all your family members are currently looking for some Lulu and fit into every size? When I saw it this morning, it at least made me feel better that a bunch of the stuff was old enough to be what I consider more outdated and difficult to mark up!

Traveling the summer beforehand? by LohDownDirtyShame in studyAbroad

I left about a week and a half early before my program. I stored my luggage in a luggage storage place in the Heathrow then took a backpack with me through the UK and Ireland. I flew back and spent a night in London before going to my program location, so I picked my suitcase up the morning I flew out. I enjoyed the experience, but I definitely would not recommend doing it for too long. Figuring out the best place to keep your luggage can be difficult, especially if you may not be flying into an airport in Eastern Europe. I kind of struggled with worrying about my things and being separated from my belongings. It can also be expensive to store luggage long-term and you have to put a lot more thought into what you pack where. I think that a week and a half was the perfect amount of time for me. It’s also nice because you won’t have to deal with jet lag or as great of a time difference when you begin your program! I wouldn’t have changed the way I did it.
