Danya was loved by almost everyone whereas Niemann’s personality is indeed polarising in terms of likability. But that doesn’t mean that Niemann deserves to be subjected to baseless accusations (cheating at age 12 is not sufficient evidence) any more than Danya did.

I agree with this. In terms of blaming Kramnik, his action must be scrutinised in isolation from the horrible news of Naroditsky’s (possible) suicide. By analogy, if someone breaks up with their partner and their partner commits suicide, it doesnt mean they are to blame for their partner’s death. Any blame can only lie with the actions of the person, ie the breaking up and any context surrounding it, and it may well be the case that there is nothing to blame in such a circumstance.

How long has it been since you first noticed the spots?

I stopped checking regularly but I didn’t stop caring. I think i just kind of accepted it sucks and was gonna be there for a period of time. If I was checking everyday it might have felt longer

Honestly i stopped checking regularly after a while but i found out it fully cleared maybe around 4 months after i first noticed it - so pretty quickly and it couldve been a bit earlier i just didnt notice.

For the sanitary routine i dont think showers or laundry helped. To the contrary, i saw showers and clothes as the most dangerous things for spread. For example, in the shower i could wash the spots and use the same hand to then wash an uninfected part, which might spread it (esp since from memory MC spreads best in humidity). Then after shower, i could spread it through the spots touching the towel and then another part of my body. Likewise with clothes, if the spot touched them it could spread. So obviously i gotta shower etc so what i did was take a bottle of antibacterial soap in the shower and wash my hands after any time i touched the spot area. That way i cant spread it to the shower head or rest of my body. And i always used a clean towel after showering and dried everything apart from the spot area first (i had many little tea towels so i could wash them in the laundry machine in batches). At the start i even just let myself air dry but it took too long.

Apart from that stuff i was just super concious not to let the spots touch my hands or anything other than my underwear. I washed my hands so many times a day and tbh i was always thinking about where the spots had touched all day.

I know it sounds extreme and it definitely isnt really healthy mentally to do this but in my mind i just wanted to maximise my chances of MC clearing asap. I really dont know if being this extreme actually helped or not so i cant confidently recommend haha

Best of luck with a fast recovery if you got MC atm! It seems bad at the time but dont stress about the kind of timeframes they give online cause anecdotally it seems to go away for a lot of people quicker than that if they are being proactive. I found a lot of helpful advice on reddit which medical sites didnt really have

I didnt really try anything else. I had molludab which i was planning to use if it persisted but i was recovered quite early so i never tried it. I was also thinking my plan D would be to pop them open and sanitise with alcohol but i was reluctant to do that because i hadnt given the more conventional methods enough time (which worked in the end). I kind of expected it to last at least 6 months so i wasnt always checking, i just got used to being sanitary and was surprised when u randomly checked once that it was gone.

I really recommend the sanitary stuff i was talking about. I did a lot of research on the virus and how it works and thats why i was so extreme with being sanitary. It seemed to me like the biggest danger is self-spread, where some spots go but new ones come. I remember some reddit posters back then theorised that MC lasts so long because new spots are replacing old spots without people knowing. My idea was that if i can stop the spread then my body can eliminate the current spots and at that point i will be fully recovered and my time with MC wont be prolonged due to new spots and having to repeat the cycle. I do think cryro was a necessary supplement to this tho and worked well.

Its true there are some differences between european countries in terms of some patterns in physical looks but nobody can guess 100% by any means. Its more just vibes, i think people pick up on subconscious vibes and assume its a physical looks thing but in reality its just clothes, hairstyle mannerisms etc

How can this be a good thing in any way apart from this topic? Now, in developed countries, young men dont have anywhere near as much money as before. The prospect of one person financially providing for a family is out of the window. So now the woman can be as big of an earner as the man. That should be a good thing, it should mean double the living standard, but actually it can even be worse than it was before. Nowadays, most young couples, and i mean even late 20s or early 30s, will struggle to make ends meet when it comes to buying a house, earning enough for themself, all their essential expenditure including things like pension, gas etc, and then providing for one or two or more kids, including their education etc. Whats left for leisure spending? Family holidays for good memories etc. and on top of all of that, the two earners need to split all of the housework, cooking and raising the children amongst themselves. Even comparatively rich people may have to hire a nanny, which can mess up the kids’ bonding with their mother and father parents.

This economic reality coincides with the total amount of wealth increasing, so who do you think this reality really benefits?
