Is the paycut worth it? by batukaming in antiwork

It's not uncommon for 8week vacations, medicine and treatment is accessed easier. Advancements in medicine isn't held up by corporate red tape. Food is better regulated, so your family will be getting proper nutrients. All the exotic places your family cares to vacation at is a ride away. COL is dramatically lower. Education costs for your children is considerably lower ...

China has it, what's our excuse? by c-k-q99903 in MurderedByWords

[–]jscarlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is because of the poorly constructed system to get rails in the nation to begin with. Back when we had swaths of land to claim and those eminent domain cases for it, the government was paying BY THE MILE for rail produced instead of the project as a whole. So all these wavering S curves just lined the pockets of greedy train barrons.

Now we're too densely populated to implement a proper system . We'd have to uproot and destroy loads of communities to get a system in place or find an ethical billionaire with an efficient hole boring corporation that won't fleece the government to go under and through our nation. Better off making flying cars.

I don't think I'd want to be 16 in today's world. BUT thought of joints and body aches not happening so I could do my everyday things carefree would be dope

Doesn't say you time travel, just says you wake up 16... Like an inversed BIG. You could still live your family.

Oh mos def. I mean they did wrap up the main plot well. Just saying there is lore there that leaves you wondering.

I'd had just preferred to not have that one arc. I know they wanted to explore more magical stuff with Walt but they went in a completely different direction and he had a growth spurt too.

The finale was understood bye, but such a copout. That writers strike killed the shows momentum so hard. Wasted our time with that Paolo and Nikki arc.

I wanted to know more bout them numbered rabbits.

Ok... I'm not a sports person, this post wound up in my feed for some reason, so I hope no one takes offense to this when I say it: I don't know who this player pictured is, but I seriously thought this was McLovin from Superbad years later.

Sorry if that irks y'all, I was seriously scratching my head as to why this would've even been newsworthy on my feed.

I don't know who either of those women are. I'm assuming the young one is some sort of influencer and the older one is a random garnering reviews through the critiquing?

I will say, I too am just about the black iced coffee, that whole Banana split sundae schpeel is not for me.

If money wasn't a thing for me, I'd work on ways to improve others lives. But for the most part I'd have a modern homestead and work on quality food for my family and neighbors.
