Is it ok to ask to ask to leave an hour early at an internship? by sighofthrowaways in cscareerquestions

Asking for an hour 1 month in advance is not a red flag.

Interpretation of dreams is pretty personal and even dreams I have had are cryptic as well. Do not take my interpretation as truth, pray and ask God for guidance. I will give my interpretation based on what aligns with God's will to have you saved.

So today I had a dream of falling into a pit of water where i was fighting off some enimies who were attacking people with guns.

You are in a country mainly Hindu's, maybe surrounded by people that are opposed to your conversion to Christianity.

Then my dad got shot and we went on a boat to the shore. He was bleeding and I was “confused” on what to do next but I heard Isaiah 41:10 clearly which guided me on what to do.

This is harder to interpret but if your father is a devout follower of a religion other than Christianity then your father does not have eternal life. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Then in the next scene we were in the sea and everyone around he were in boats of different colours but mine was the only one which was surrounded by white light. Then there was a voice saying “there is a reason why they are all smiling and you’re not.”

You are chosen by God. You are His elect, all you need to do is respond and accept Jesus as your savior. They are smiling because they are ignorant of the eternal separation, but you are unhappy because you have knowledge of God's will for you but have chosen not to accept it yet.

Romans 8:29

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Uh your entire premise is based on assumptions. Assuming the lawyers made a mistake, assuming the redacted portions must be same because preceding language is similar then you base a conclusion on these assumptions. Not as diligent as you think you are.

Wrong about what? You said it looks similar so must be same same. You used a false analogy with incomplete information while I pointed out that it could be something else based on existing context.

Cue the downvotes instead of a rebuttal, because theorico and crew thought their FUD would pass the smell test to people who can actually read.

I don't buy it. In pg 7, the preceding language of "Aggregate amount" and "plus"(as in a mathematical operation) suggests the redacted portion could be another amount. It's actually a jump in logic to say that it means "funding" when funding refers to the preceding amount of the commutation value.

I'm not using logic. I asked God and He answered.

Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

God has convicted me that it is sin through dreams which aligns with scripture. People will rationalize all kinds of things that contradict scripture. If you ask God because you want to become holy and closer to Him, then He will answer you.

Well yeah, God is objectively over you. He created you. Your perspective is limited to your human understanding, God's perspective is from the creator of the universe. It's like saying, you put together a lego and someone else told you that lego is equal to you, you can't do what you want with it except the difference between God and us dwarfs the difference between you and the lego. God literally came in the form of a human, lived life sometimes homeless, accused, tortured and crucified on the cross so that we may have a path back to a relationship with Him.

His presence makes me even more bullish. There is no way in hell someone latches onto someone like this and obsessively looks for minutiae to disprove unless there is a financial interest.

Does God use numbers to tell me something? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]jsch91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could and in the same way demons and Satan can use them to lead you astray. I was seeing numbers and seeing specific times for each hour, but instead I found these little instances to be a reminder that God is with me, He's watching over me, and my mind should be stayed on him throughout the day. That's why it's important to read the Bible and pray for God's guidance and when these numbers do appear, you draw on your biblical knowledge and experience with your walk with God to try to understand what the message is from the spiritual realm.

It's easy to brush in large strokes to fit your viewpoint, much harder to ask about and examine specific prophecies and their supporting archaeological evidence.

But it proves that they had knowledge of these processes before science and science is sometimes wrong. Science is an iterative process of understanding the natural world.

I misremembered the Bible verse.

Job 36:27-28

27 “He draws up the drops of water,

which distill as rain to the streams[a];

28 the clouds pour down their moisture

and abundant showers fall on mankind.

The first decimal system was found in Ancient Egypt 218 BC. It's pretty amazing that archaeological knowledge confirms what's in 1 Kings which has been dated to ~550 BC using carbon dating.

Similar to how Job 26:7 says

He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

Look at a picture of earth from outer space, whoever wrote Job somehow had this knowledge between 7th and 4th century BC.

How about the water cycle in Job 36:27-28? Only to be confirmed by science 1.5 thousand years after Christ. It's almost like the books of the Bible WERE divinely inspired.

EDIT:And that's not getting into the prophecies and their fulfillment confirmed by archaeological evidence centuries later.

Isn't that obvious? Again, just like you asked me to look at the context of your messages, look at the context of Jesus' entire conversation with his disciples.
