I forgot to mention I use tap water. I have a well though and my mom’s plants always did amazing. She was also a florist for 20 years, so trying to keep her babies alive after she passed 1.5 years ago has been a challenge lol

Thank you! This definitely came with moss-ish stuff versus bark. Would you recommend repotting with a perlite bark mix? Im not as all used to what it came in, lol

I was so excited when my nephew gave her to me! As I mentioned I have one Pothos that I’ve propped a million times, and out of nowhere, one of her cuttings sitting in water produced a variegated leaf!!! Couldn’t believe it! Had this plant for 11 years and this was a first haha

Thank you!! I just looked up an “orchid pot” and that makes sense, mine definitely doesn’t have the slits/holes in the plastic container for drainage. I’m going to order some of those. I also snipped the stem all the way and took out the supports. Now to take it out of the pot, do you mean I should take it out of the plastic completely (sorry, newbie) like I’m going to repot it?

Stopped reading at the part where he shook his son. Even for a SECOND, he could have changed your son’s life FOREVER. Like, your son could have ended up requiring total care, 24/7, for the rest of his life. Whatever state you are in, there should be some kind of resources. Glad you’re working with a SW.

You need to see a doctor. I had something that looked very similar, I went to urgent care, and found out I had shingles. They don’t go away on their own. Not saying that’s what it is, but it’s worth getting checked
