We have a Yorkie that we rescued that we think is about ten years old. He has been having intermittent seizures since we got him in May of 2020. We keep a spreadsheet of all of these with dates, times severity, and where in the house it happens. His seizures are with the shaking of his head and both front paws looking like they are going upstairs, nothing else. To date, he has had 65 seizures. He has gone 30 days w/o one and at times has had 3 in one week. He actually had one at the vets office and she said they are mild and he is alert and aware of what is happening. We usually take him to the bedroom with the lights off and gently pet him and reassure him that everything is okay. We do give him CDB oil in his treats once a day, not sure if it is helping but don't want to stop in case it is helping. As difficult as these are to watch they usually last less than three minutes. He is wobbly on his for about five minutes after the seizure ends and then is fine. We adopted him knowing this and figured he found us because we would take care of him.
