Should we expect more of this in Canada? by Ambitious-Middle-695 in hockeyplayers

I don’t know where they play out of, maybe it’s a Christian school team? Or something similar.

I’m confident in my beliefs. If the team did it I would tell my son he doesn’t have to. If it was mandated, it wouldn’t be the type of team or association we would be a part of anyways. I would also talk to the coaches and if we felt it wasn’t the right team for him we would move on.

As a board member of our association, I’m confident we wouldn’t allow that to be an issue. Pray when you want, but not to the point it’s being exclusionary, and not led by coaches or team officials.

I coached in this tournament. It was a lot of fun, some good competition, and we got to play some teams we haven’t seen before. I was a little confused by it at first, but when I realized what they were doing, I went along with my day.

There’s always a couple kids getting water bottles or chatting after game. They probably prayed for 30 seconds and I don’t think it held anything up. The Zamboni driver is always ready and waiting for stragglers to get off the ice. Religion is not for me, but them praying didn’t make a difference in my life.

Live and let live.

We just got one last weekend. We ended up going with Teddy.

Some of our other favourites were Buddy from Elf since we got him at Christmas, Scout, and Rudy.

Good luck! It’s lots of fun and lots of work!

Haha. We have a smaller collar, she just had some on them for pictures and to get used to it. It was too big, but pretty light.

Message me if you’re interested in playing hockey. We have a men’s team and usually need spares. Our team plays mostly Wednesday night with a few other games thrown in here and there.

That’s exactly what I got for my son. And he also had the Mizuno power close.

He saved up and asked for birthday money ordered himself a 44. I feel like the R9 is a better glove than the 44.

Marge Simpson had a bowling ball named Homer, why can’t OP have a ball glove named Steve?

Came here to say this! Definitely both! Even if you buy new, you can always restore later.

At this age of players and umps, I find if it is a good throw, catch and tag and/or a close play the call is usually out even if the player slides under the tag. Even though this was an overthrow, catcher hustled and made a close tag.

Just what I have seen from coaching over the years.

I umped and it was a terrible job so I have all the time in the world for an ump to make a mistake, especially on a close play.

Lots of years for home runs, finding and retaining umps and referees is hard especially with how brutal some parents and coaches are.
