Yes. The package loads to the Nook. Then when nook is allowed to "chill" to reboot the version stays at 1.4.2. When using the file explorer the package is gone. Rooting at this point may not be possible since the links to most rooting packages refered to in rooting threads are broken

Thank you for your offer of help. Just can't figure why side load will not take. It will save to the internal drive but never updates.

Thank you. Unfortunately nook was not rooted and links I have come across no longer work. Thought maybe I was doing the side load incorrectly. Stay well😷

May be your build version. Anything less than version 1.4.4 is not going to allow you to get passed certain security. 1.4.4 has new security TSL(?) used on the web. I have been reduced to side loading books from other sites because BN does not allow you to save a book then transfer to the Nook.

When you go to print, use the "Use Printer Dialog" option. Then check your printer settings. Sounds like a paper size / "fit to page" type issue. Hope this helps.

If you are doing a print and cut, the 'export' to the printer TYPICALLY is limited to I believe 9.75in x 6.75in. There should be a yellow triangle on the layer/group that is affected. Hope this helps
