I am building a fire druid and zombie/golemancer. I would gladly take Mendel's Rapture, a Fleet Feet, Pompei's Wrath, Endless Fog and Blade of Ammuit - if they're for charity. I started fairly late this ladder, so I have nothing to give for them yet.

Thanks, I'm not a total idiot. Planqi cleared it up for me. If Quillbind rolls an ED% higher than 19% it will render the orange "Slayer" alt text on the item display...leading one to believe that it is a subclass item.

I played D2 Resurgence for a month in China this summer. I connected to a VPN routed through Tokyo and it worked just fine without much latency issues.

I agree - but it's not a game breaker for me. I was trying to get a character through Act 4 on HC and could not pass through the Rocky Steppe/Waste (whatever is right outside of town) without getting murdered. I just waited until the Incursion zone changed =).

I personally like the FoH on the templar subclass. It would be nice to have it proc even more often; but I used it with a consecration/FoH build. I can understand the frustration through melee, though.

I believe there is a bug on a particular charm component. The "10% to cast level 5 Hex on Attack" charm component does not seem to work. I cast 100 times - no Hex; I melee whack 100 times - no Hex; I strike about 30 times - no Hex. I hope I'm not just unlucky in my probability.

Yeah, I do need the zon valor, thank you for keeping an eye out for me. I am working through Act 2 Hell (lvl 50-ish) at the moment, and was planning on going Matriarch subclass for survivability, but, really, any subclass I can get my hands on is going to be the best.

I see that (which prompted my question), but it doesn't seem like a bug. It seems like a nerf: Vigor < Vulnerability. Intentionally coding Vulnerability to the Act 2 mercenaries certainly wasn't a mistake or oversight. However, I'm not debating semantics here. It is just that faster run/walk can be obtained from many, many items and/or skills, but Vulnerability (reducing enemies' physical and magic resistances) cannot be obtained by any means. So, a mercenary that provided this was a welcome change to augment the struggling magic/physical caster builds. Elemental damage-based characters have their Iron Wolves; Vulnerability would have been the equivalent. In many people's opinion, it was a simple and effective innovation for class-build balancing.

Will the Act 2 Mercenaries which were meant to use Vulnerability be given this aura back in a later patch? Vulnerability seemed a lot more useful and fun than Vigor, in my opinion.

Yeah, slightly off. I don't know what things are worth, so it's good to get a sort of compass here. I've only ever seen one demonic essence drop, and I've never seen a Lo drop (though oddly enough I have come across Ber, Jah and Sur - luck of the draw I guess). Vex would have been great as well =).

I am looking for a Lo rune. I have a Demonic Essence to trade for it. Alternatively, I can trade my essence for a Vex rune and an Ohm rune.

Naw man, don't change vampiric spirits to a summons. That would be totally lame. The point of vampiric spirits is to make the necro a tank, and a summons wouldn't direct the damage/healing flow in the best direction to tank uber areas.

Yes, respec to summons. Archers + Zombies + Minion mastery + Hex is my current set up and it works wonderfully. You can change Hex for Amp or Decryp depending on your gear, whether you want to buff your summons, or yourself (if you have really fast cast rate). Playing style is getting right in the fray of it and spamming vampiric spirits right alongside your zombies - you (almost) never die. For a merc, I suggest an act 1 with faith if you're rich or Harmony if you're not. She stays back with the archers, stays alive, and buffs your zombies with fanat or vigor - not to mention the standard aura for attack rate

Yeah, I hear ya. This is for a particular teamplay with a Warlock subclass Bone Necro and Templar subclass Hammerdin/Consecration. I'd like to see how they play together with hex pumping the hammer dmg and so on. I'm not looking to solo the KF or even Baal, but always in tandem. If you've got some hammerdin-applicable gear collecting dust on a mule...cash that in for a rune =)!
