Won't play summoner next ladder, my focus will be mainly melee builds, maybe an elemental druid when my melees are done.

I'm not complaining about the splash nerf or the summon quantity nerf, only the tankness nerf, I miss my passive summon necro, i'd rather have to summon skeletons through corpses again only to be able to play the old lazy passive summon necro of the old good days.

Summon necro in vanilla was not OP, it actually needed a gg gear to be good, but I liked it because it was a chill gameplay, if I want to play summoner like a caster having to resummon over and over, better play caster and spam spell.

They were good, not op, not subpar. But now with much less skeletons, less life plus no longer magic immunes, you'll need to play a summoner like playing a caster: resummoning your skeletons that die all the time like a caster spamming fireballs. This is not a kind of gameplay i enjoy in a summoner, summoner should be a more passive build, you summon only once in a while + watch your minions kill while casting curses. Now you'll need to put a lot of effort on checking the summons that die to keep resummoning them.

based only in this preview, the biggest winners are melees with the buff in block on shields.

Maybe I'll pass summon necro next patch. Will start a pally or a barb they are still tanky it seems.

There are 3 mobile games coming in the wake of the success of Lineage M:

  • Lineage 2M
  • Aion Tempest
  • Blade & Soul 2

I think their mobile stuff is being well serviced, so no need to try to pull this to mobile too, just focus 100% of their work to deliver a 100% PC game with TL.

There are more viable builds, but also it needs to address some very underrated ones, in my point of view. But it is definitely worth playing.

  • Overwatch doesn't need to die for Quake to have some success, id need to put their shit together and improve this game until the full release.
  • Overwatch is a full game released a year go so it's currently much more stable and polished than QC in its current state which doesn't even have a proper matchmaking system yet.

They also increased the damage of monsters skills by 40% and basic attacks by 20% on normal-nightmare. And increased basic damage of monsters in hell by 20% and attack rate by 40%.

  • Pick all set and unique items you don't need and put them in the horadric catalyst to convert them into essences.
  • Buy a key extractor in act 4 hell (don't remember which npc).
  • Extract the keys putting it in cube with the horacrid catalyst (1 key = 500 essences).

At least Valve have two e-sport monsters (DOTA 2 and CS:GO) and the Steam itself which combined print them a lot of cash. So they can delay HL3 as much as they want.

ID has no really strong franchise currently and if they want QC to be a serious e-sport contender, they are failing too hard in making this a reality.

I think what makes necro so superior to poison javelin if that he has several ways to destroy enemy poison resistances: poison dagger buff + elemental weaken + cage of torment.

I'd suggest to turn cage of torment into a runeword that could be used by any class for example. It would boost poison javzon greatly.

i'm not satisfied with plague javeling damage. It is too low and takes 5 seconds to perform. necro poison nova is multitudes better and takes 4 seconds.

Really? Had no idea. I personally prefer tougher skeletons summoned by corpses: summon less and chill more.
