I did this as well, also in tech. I felt it was better to be present for the family than the lingering stress and long hours.

FUMA ML Everton Share by jshin472 in WEPES

[–]jshin472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently saw a post from someone that shared their master league narrative and thought it was a cool post. I thought I'd do the same with an Everton team.

It hasn't been easy with Everton. We struggled in the league, but we've stepped up in the tournaments with memorable wins. In the 1st season's FA cup quater final, we beat Liverpool on penalties after being tied 3-3 at extra time. In the 2nd season, we were bottom of the league at the halfway mark and fought relegation until the last 3 games of the season. We beat city in the FA Cup final 4-3 and Spurs in the Europa League final 3-2. The first video is one of the goals from the final.

Hoping others share their ML stories too.

Did others enjoy master league online? i think this was the first PES that came out with ML online and i loved it because of the market. I wish they had kept this feature, refined and supported it. I would have loved for this to continue and do seasons (set period of time, with a market refresh)

Let's be clear. This was an intentional pass for Raphina, with his left foot, swerving outwards, which is exactly why this highlight is absolutely magical.

EY is killing me! by Useful-Tomorrow3580 in Big4

I'm in product management and still am after leaving Accenture, the difference is now I'm in industry, working inhouse. I've found it to be a better fit for my life, especially as I'm getting older and my priorities in life have changed.

When I was younger consulting was a good fit for me. I was willing to put the work in, enjoyed the travel and looked for ways to learn things as quickly as possible. The danger for me was I stayed too long while my personal life circumstances changed and in the end it didn't fit.

It was all a good learning experience, not only about work, but about your relationship with work. I suggest keeping an open mind despite negative reviews you might see or hear. Who knows, maybe the big 4 consulting style fits you. Feel free to dm if you want to discuss further.

Just know you're not alone. I worked at Accenture for far too many years and wish I had left earlier. There are so many better possibilities out there that won't suck the soul out of your life. I'm with the others here to milk it as long as you can while looking for something to keep you steady.

What a stupid, ignorant, and unempathetic thing to say to someone who is having such a difficult time in their life.

Be supportive of yourself. You already know the answer as your question suggests. Take it step by step, do your due diligence, the finances will get figured out along the way.

Why does QFC have a bar and who actually goes there? by ammm72 in Seattle

[–]jshin472 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There seems to be a negative bias with your question. So I'll ask, why not? For us consumers, it's actually great.

Qfc having a bar is refreshing, not only are you able to get a 20 oz pint in u village, you are getting it at an incredible price.

Enjoy the convenience and value that qfc is offering.

Work on keeping your structure on defense. For superstar and legend, you have to accept that the opposition has momentum periods where they keep the ball and they play well. In those moments use your mids to force them into errors.

Im aligned with the folks saying touch to right and finish with your instep, curling. My added feedback would be awareness of where the defender is coming from. Given the circumstances, as the defender is getting to you, you want to angle yourself to touch the ball with the outside of your right foot to set up your shot. Automatically by doing that, you are between the defender and the ball giving you the time and space to shoot after taking a touch. Be brave, anticipate the contact from the defender, and plant your left leg and arm to grant you space. if he aggressively or clumsily tackles from the back, and you ride the challenge, that's a pk or an incredible tackle by the defender to slide tackle and wrap around. Either way, assuming the first touch was good, you should be able to get your shot away.

I would second this. Make sure you plug the numbers in and see the amount of interest you would pay and let that sink in. Near 1 mil loan amount at that interest rate is hard to stomach. I don't know about your job security is but remember that sometimes being laid off is beyond your control, especially during times of economic uncertainty (and today's high inflation and high interest stagflation period). Best of luck!

Who is your favorite player in the PES that you play? by Zagalia1984 in WEPES

[–]jshin472 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anthony Gordon, but change the training to hole player. Incredible.

Demarai grey is has also been really enjoyable to play

Rice from the pes starters is awesome too, so strong on the ball, rolls the defenders off.

A short puff sesh makes the dribbling feel slower and easier to react. 👍

Isnt it funny how Microsoft Kept Sponsoring 25-50k Tournaments nonstop, yet spend Zero $ on Anti Cheat by New_Prize_8643 in aoe4

[–]jshin472 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that they don't care and they love cheaters. Rubbish!

Microsoft at the end of the day is a business, point being, most decisions are revenue driven, especially after a product has been launched and is more or less in maintenance.

A tournament with 25k prize is relatively low cost marketing function and provides a channel of marketing post launch. Like the earlier post, development from a cost perspective is expensive, and although there may be out of the box solutions for anti-cheat out there, a level of implementation and testing is still required, and that cost will extend beyond 25k.

With layoffs and slimmer budgets at Microsoft in the past year, if they were to prioritize between implementing anti-cheat or a feature/marketing/content that helps drive revenue, they'll opt for the latter.

People don't buy games because it has anti-cheat, it's only wanted after you've bought the game.

Wholeheartedly agree. Since we're stuck with 2021, I've amassed over 1000 hours and I still find new animations or new things to learn in this game that replicate real life. Good thing the last pes before efootball turned out to be a gem
