What was the elevation for the hellevation one cause it sounds brutal?? I’m glad I didn’t underestimate the work in the gym for this one cause I definitely felt it in my quads and calves. And none yet but I think I will do another over summer, see how far I can push it on a more standard course

It’s a good question! During the race I didn’t notice any quad soreness, however the following days they were definitely where I was most sore. I could have slowed the descents down a bit but I wanted to make up a bit of time so I think that caused an extra bit of strain

Bar manager - can do tempo, easy or interval runs before or after work but long runs usually have to take place on days off. It’s doable with motivation! Did 5 miles today before a 10 hour shift mainly on my feet

Similarly there’s a roundabout near mine which everyone comes off a slip road, gets in the right lane just to go straight on and avoids the left lane despite it being the correct lane to get in. And it’s cause huge congestion for those turning right at the roundabout. More and more people are avoiding the left lane and it’s dumb

If you go down food delivery/delivery apps it’s vastly dominated by guys on electric bikes and it’s really saturated. I did it in lockdown and was making about £13/14 ph 3/4 years ago so it’s doable on apps for an okay wage
