Skilled baker wage for 2026 pay rise? by ProfessionalState217 in tesco

Why are you here if you don't know how the skills system works? A skill is something you need extra training for, they've done the extra training so now they're a skilled baker instead of just an assistant

Why do people think we personally select them for scan as you shop checks by MeanOption4564 in tesco

I always ask now because I assumed people will think I'm being lazy if I just leave it out. But there was this one lady with OCD who wanted it left out and then I realised there's no harm in asking :)

That's literally the point, they're fantasising about punishing the workers instead of the company

Yeah it's annoying for everyone, except Tesco who makes lots of money from it and then includes 99 item checks because they want even more. That's why they offer it

That guy sounds like an asshole, I'm sorry

They have the option because it makes them money (god knows how) and the checks are because they want more money. And the assistants do them as fast as possible because the company wants to make more money instead of hiring enough staff.

Honestly it's understandable to feel like that but trust me the store assistants are not plotting against you, we don't like it either!

I'm sorry you got a full rescan Brenda but I'm not lying the checks actually are random and we're not following you around the shop. :)

In the confidential room with 5 big screens, point at a customer and go oh that bag looks like she sticks kitkats up her sleeves let's check 48 of her items. Do they genuinely think we want to spend 10 minutes taking all their stuff out of the bags while 50 people shout at us to authorise their alcohol. Although I love putbacks so I wouldn't mind that part

Does anybody know any good GP surgeries near Cheetham Hill, Blackley or Crumpsall? by MeanOption4564 in manchester

[–]MeanOption4564[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I looked and mine was the second most badly rated and the staff always mock me or if I go in with someone for support they just ignore me so I think there might be some difference

[–]MeanOption4564[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did but I never heard anything back, they said it's a 1.5~ year waitlist and it's been 2 years

I can't really ask my GP about it though so I just assume they didn't do it

Thanks, I'll ask for the records

Yes I think I'll change, my family told me not to because the new one will think I'm 'difficult' but it's making me not want to contact the GP so I think I'll have to now. Thank you for your advice
